Privacy Collection Notice

1. This website

This website is hosted and administered by Deakin University as part of the Let’s Grow reserach project (Project).

This website provides introductory information about the Project and links to a series of screening questions to assess the suitability of potential participants in the Project.

2. Personal information collected and use

By clicking the links “Join our Study” or “Click Here to Begin”, users will be asked to provide limited personal information on an anonymous basis including country of residence, age range, English proficiency and child’s date of birth.

Based on a user’s answers, an external link to a secure survey site will be provided to suitable candidates with detailed information about the Project and a request for formal consent to participate and collect further data.

If a user does not wish to provide such information, the user cannot be assessed for participation in the Project.

Regardless of questions answered, this website may also collect further personal information, such as regional location or IP address, as further detailed in Deakin University’s Privacy Policy http://www.deakin.edu.au/footer/privacy.

3. How personal information is managed and stored

Deakin University manages personal information it holds, including requests by individuals for access to their personal information, in accordance with Deakin University’s Privacy Policy http://www.deakin.edu.au/footer/privacy and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).

You have a right to gain access to your personal information held by Deakin University.
